Choosing an APM

Some alternative payment methods (APMs) can be made through one of several gateways. Certain features are possible only with certain gateways and payment methods.

Therefore, you need to determine which feature and payment options you want for your customers.

These choices may also impact how you must implement the payment method. For example, you can support the SEPA payment method through either the Adyen gateway or the PPRO gateway. Both support European currencies, but Adyen only allows you to implement it through the Express APM implementation method, with its own submit button. On the other hand, PPRO supports an external submit button.
