Understanding payment routing

Payment RoutingPayment Routing You can route transactions based on items in the transaction, monthly gross of authorized transactions (also known as transaction volume), or with an advanced payment routing flow. For a general overview of this product, see Route in the Getting Started section.

This section details how to customize the payment routing based on what you want to accomplish:

  1. I want to keep 'relationshipA' active at nn% - 'relationshipA' refers to the relationship you have with a merchant account provider, a processor, or an acquirer (bank). The 'nn%'' is a specific percentage of transaction volume
  2. I want all orders with xxx to go to 'relationshipB' - 'relationshipB' refers to the relationship you have with a merchant account provider, a processor, or an acquirer (bank). The 'xxx' represents an item that is part of a transaction
  3. I want to do something more complicated
